Deadbeat fathers are a nuisance and expense to our society. I've never heard of cars impounded for not paying child support, since you need a car to work. They will suspend your license, as long as you make arrangements and then they can have your wages garnished.
If you're responsible on your own, you would avoid this and you could make arrangements on your own terms.

YES they can and should. They should sell the car and use the money to help pay you back due child support

yes they can. You should also realize that you got yourself into this predicament by not paying your child support. Child support is a responsibility and you should own up to it by PAYING IT!!!!
