There are many successful cancer therapies. It depends on the type of cancer you have, the stage and grade of cancer at the time of diagnosis and, to a lesser extent, your underlying state of health to be able to tolerate aggressive treatment modalities.

In fact, there are very few cancers which cannot be treated, although the sheer volume of patients means the unfortunate ones who are too advanced to cure probably make the headlines more often than the many patients who are either cured or disease progression controlled for many years.

Don't be too down on the medical profession. I treat cancers on a regular basis and see a great number of good results between the few depressing unfortunate ones.
