Someone asked "has anybody else followed through in public ?????". I'm assuming it has some sort of underlying meaning. What is it? I have an inkling... but whatever.

Your inkling is probably right on the mark hun--"folowing through" in public means having intercourse in public.

Follow through means "to finish an endeavor completely". If your effort lacks follow through, it means that you finished too soon.

To follow through with something is to continue to its completion. Not to quit or give up.

the meaning of it is to do something all the way and not part way. as in golf you follow through by hitting the ball full swing and not part of a swing.

It means that if you've set some goals, or made some promises, that you should definitely keep up your end of the deal (or finish up with the goals you've set).
