Since muffers had her kittens she has become very vocal a lot. I watch her a lot and I don't think she is ill when she uses the bathroom it don't seem like she hurting in that area. She also is eating a whole lot and I'm buying her large amount of food also her food bill has gone up a lot. she takes very good care of the babies.
The babies are very busy and this is her first litter and it seems like she trying to tell me something also the babies climb in and out of the basket on thier own now and I don't think she likes that but they are 4 weeks old and they are very busy. Is that why she so vocal? is she worried about the babies? is that what mother cats do after they have thier babies? Before she had babies she only meowed when she was ready to eat. What is going on with muffer and what is she telling me. Please no unessary respones.

One she is talking alot to communicate, call the kittens.

Second if she is coming up to you and trying to block your path or what not and talking alot she wants your attention and needs your help with something.

My one old cat Babe, when her first kitten came out, she came and got me and bugged me to death to follow her to show me to help her out. Your cat might need something for the kittens, more food, the litter box might be too dirty for her level to teach the kittens, she might want you just to round them up for her so she can have a break/rest.

Just watch her, watch her body language, her motions, she'll talk this way, Trying to get you to follow or what not.

Cats are smarter than most give them credit for, specially a mom cat with kittens.

She is vocal because she is talking to her babies. She may be calling them to watch her eat so they learn how or just "teaching them" how to be a kitty. Also, she is eating a lot because she has so many babies to feed. She is going to be more hungry because she is burning calories feeding her kittens. I hope this helped. If you are still worried, call your vet. Good luck!

She's probably vocal because she's coming back in heat! Get your D@mn cat fixed the Shelters are full of unwanted cats and kittens...They breed like rabbits...I'm sure you have great homes for yours though huh?
