Contrast therapy:

2 minutes each alternating -
ICE - heat - ICE - heat - ICE
Lightly, lightly brush / massage the bruise with your fingertips, moving toward your collar bone and heart.
You can repeat this process several times in a day.

And in fact, it's good for any kind of bruising,
and it doesn't matter how old it is..
Should clear this mark within a day (or less).
Good luck!

Depends on how old it is but put a spoon in the freezer and let it get ice cold. Apply it to the hickey. and it will make it less visible. My friend actually used to keep one in the freezer for cases like this. it might not work if the hickey is old. Sorry. atleast you know for next time...

OMG, it has been years since I had one, and we used to comb them, which helped spread the blood around and at least make it look not so much like a classic hickey, I seem to remember that we convinced ourselves it really did make it go away faster.

Worth a try, doesn't cost anything to try it.

first...never allow anyone to give you a hickey in the first place...a hickey's an injury to the skin sorta like a bruise...let it heal by itself or use some cream or powder to cover it up....

First of all massage it with a healing lotion which you can buy at any drug store. Do this 4-5 times a day. Then your best bet is get makeup to cover it until it's gone.

Rub aloe gel (like the kind you use with sunburn) on it, and do the thing with the frozen spoon. Or really just anything that's madly cold will work I think.

ICE will assuage the situation! since hicket is formed by the the bloods gathered in one place. with ice, it will cool down the blood pressure, then you will see the results fast.
