looking to take it off and clean it so it possibly won't stick anymore.

Its on the upper intake. 2 bolts and 1 vacuum line. and 1 tube. If its sticking then it will have to be replaced. Cleaning really won't help. If its a code showing up and no driveabilty problems then its the DPFE sensor that's silver 2 hoses and 1 wiring connector located on the tube going up to the egr. If its running rough at idle then replace the EGR. The EGR has a round top head on it about 3 inches around and its silver on top and cast iron on the bottom.

If it is stuck you can pull strong vacuum on it to unstick it. There is probably full of carbon behind it in the throttle body, which makes it seem stuck.

why do you think it's sticking?
those years had probs with deteriorated vacuum fittings and egr pressure sensor codes.

Depends on which Engine you have as to where it is located
