First, you should watch what you eat. Then, try to workout a little bit everyday. Be careful not to overdo it, 30 minutes a day should be a good start. Maybe you can go walking for 30 minutes...or if you can't do that try getting a workout video. I have the biggest loser workout video and it works great! There's soo many tips to losing weight so If you have any questions or need support feel free to e-mail or message me. Hope this helps!

First of all, no more sodas (if at all possible, if you have to have one, try drinking the diet kind that don't have calories).

Drink water a lot. Carry around a water bottle with you all the time. Drinking water will help to flush your system of any toxins and other gunk that's in you. Your skin will also look better too.

Start walking and/or excersing. I'm speaking from experience, being a computer/TV couch potato is the best way to gain weight. Get some friends to go swimming with you, or riding bikes, walking around the mall (leave your $$$ in the car), around the neighborhood, visit a park, join a gym... there are so many things you can do to be more active.

It's also a mental challenge as well. We are creatures of habit; we get comfortable with routine; so you are gonna have to change your routine. Get an accountability partner. Someone who will continue to encourage you when you want to quit and help you to have fun as you are im proving not only your body but your mind and attitude as well.

Make sure to visit your doctor before you try any diets or unusal exercises. You need to be healthy first.

God bless you on your journey to a better you!

The Bible says that "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."

ok lets see....
1. your meals should consist of 50% vegetables or fruit, 25% whole grain carb (rice, pasta, bread), 25% lean protein (fish, chicken, beef, soy).

2. drink only water!! at least 8 glasses, this isnt that hard. if you are awake 16 hours a day, its only half a glass every hour. do allow yourself to drink at 8 ounces of milk or juice.

3. work out 6 times a week! Day one do weight training, Day two do Cardio, Day three weight training, Day four cardio, Day five weight training, Day six cardio. When ever doing cardio do no less than 45 min.

4. SLEEP!! if your going to work out sleep is essential for your body. you need to sleep the full 8 hours.

.....any questions message me, by bf is a body builder so i get alot of second hand knowledge on lose weight, gaining muscle, and the right way to do so

- Eat right and eat light.
- Drink plenty of water (6-8 glasses a day would be good, as you grow older 8-10 glasses)
- Walk!! Walk a lot, avoid the car or bus.
- Eat plenty of Fibre with your morning breakfast, all bran cereals is a good choice, not pop-tarts or sugar coated alphabets.
- Don't unnessarily sit around doing nothing, clean your room, get some house work done.
- Avoid sugar; Sugar coated stuff. Donuts, cheese, cakes, ice-cream. You don't have to stop it completely, but have a little once in a while and in moderation.
- THINK YOURSELF FIT. VERY IMPORTANT!! Your body will reflect the way you think. Think positive thoughts and do not get too self-consious about how you look.

173, dang....
well, cut down on fast food, try to only eat it when you travel
lots of exercise, ride your bike, go swimming, if you cant do anything like that, help your parents out with housework(thats also major exercise)
when eating at home, use smaller portions
when eating at home, cook instead of using instant, its healthier and cheaper
always eat breakfast, it keeps you from eating more later. keep sugary food and drinks away from the house, having them once in a while is fine, though.
when you have to eat out, eat at a healthier restaurant like subway, dont get anything advertised as big, avoid putting fatty sauces like mayonaise on your food. dont get fried food. get the small sized drinks
this may be one of the most important rules of health, whatever you do, dont go on a diet. especially if it claims that you should avoid carbohydrates. you need carbohydrates. and try to eat more veggies and less red meat while youre at it.
