Well, it depends in what way did it sound. It is was like a desperate cry it could be 1). I would recommend that you go and see what is happening. Just knock and introduce yourself that you are the next neighbor and ask if everything is okay. I find it that today there is no neighboor as it used to be before. Noone cares about their neighboor anymore. But be catios when you go there.,
