Hm-mm, it actually sounds rather awkward because generally something is either closed or not closed. I think I would say "Is the container closed well?", or "have you closed the container well?"On the other hand I don't know whether I would consider it incorrect, just awkward usage would be my opinion.

Yes. If you are unsure as to grammer, just move some words around and see if it still sounds correct. For instance, you could say, "is the container closed well?" Or "I pressed down on all the sides of the lid. I closed it well."

or
