My biggest pet peeves? Probably people with cell phones in public places especially restaurants and my biggest one r/e driving are people that do not use their turn signals or turn them on when you are already (stuck) behind them. How about you?

My biggest peeve is that people tend to be in such a rush they forget their manners. People who do not say, "Thank-you" when you let them in or purposely black your way out rather than letting you in. I just don't understand it. Sometimes I think we should have to all re-write out drivers test yearly because lots of people seem to not remember the rules of the road. Cell phones? Don't even get me started! Is it me or them because the user seem to talk so loud and not consider other people?

Driving pet peeve...

Watching someone in front of me slow down, NOT pay attention to traffic (live in Savannah area, rush hour to work and home) and have a cell phone stuck to the side of their head! They're so busy talking they don't pay attention, and end up braking when they don't need to, holding traffic up, or turning without using signals...or ALL THREE or MORE! *ggrrrrr*

General pet peeve...

Being in a movie theater, and hearing those SAME cell phones go off like bells calling people to church on Sunday! I mean...why in the world would someone bring a cell phone to the theater? If you're there to watch a movie, you don't need to be taking calls...and if you're expecting an important call, you do NOT need to be at the theater!!

Does anyone else agree with me on these???

And yes, I have a cell phone...it stays in my car, locked in my glove box, while I'm in the theater. As for when I'm driving, it's turned OFF, because I want to concentrate on traffic, and don't consider my life worth answering a call! I take 20 minutes to get to work....so whatever anyone calls me about can wait.

Driving - people who drive way below the speed limit. If you want to take your car out for a walk, pull over when you see you are getting a line of people behind you.

Cell phones - Those stupid Push to Talk phones in public. What in the world makes people think other people want to hear BOTH sides of your stupid conversation?

Businesses - Phone menu nightmares. I'm sure everyone has been stuck in one where no matter what you do, you can't get a real person. If so, check out this website which has for many companies the way to get a real person on the phone: http://www.gethuman.com/

People - People that chew with their mouths open. Yuck.

Internet - People who use "text message" and "instant message" abbreviations for everything they write. How much harder is it to type "you" than "u".

E-Mail - Spam. Enough said.

People who drive slow in the passing lane of the interstate.

The Other!
It's not a big thing but....
When I place an order at a fast food place I tell the cashier (after making sure i have eye contact) that "the order is for here". I then tell them the number or combo or no onion...what ever the case may be. They will then ask "Is this for here or to go?"
It's just a peeve....like they aren't listening to me from the get go.

It' happened so many times it just gets on my nerves.

My biggest pet peeve on the road is when people pull out right in front of you like they own the road and you should slow down to let them on the road. My biggest pet peeve in general would have to be cheap people who expect you to pick up the bill all the time.

I hate it when I am waiting on a customer and they are so busy on their cell phone that I can't get their order in and there is line of people behind them. It is just rude and selfcentered. I spent half an hour on a woman's order that should have taken 10 minutes (meanwhile a man waiting patiently for the whole time to get assistance) I actually ended up leaving something off her order because she kept stopping to make another call and I got confused and forget a specific item she wanted.

I also hate it when people sing out loud in public. Not humming but actually singing. Also I hate seeing obese people stuffing themselves with food at restaraunts.

I absolutely hate getting stuck behind slow drivers. Especially at home in Cape Breton where there aren't a lot of passing lanes. I don't understand why, if they want to look at the sites, they don't just pull over and do it and allow the locals to be on there way! Otherwise, I hate it when people hog the sidewalk. Like those people who walk in sets of three or four and expect me to walk in the mud so that they can have the entire sidewalk to themselves. No way!

Turn signals! That drives me insane, sitting there waiting to make a left turn, my signal is on, and there's a whole line of traffic coming and NONE use signals, I could have made my turn if those bastards would use their signals. In general pet peeve? People who chew with their mouth open, I want to use duct tape on them.

Driving- either tailgaters or people who don't know what those white rectangular signs are (speed limit)... 35 does not mean you must go 20... GRR!!!!

Other-false assumptions. You may think you know how I feel or what I believe, but to be sure, you may want to ASK!!

Another- insensitivity. I've been married 6 yrs, and my church puts a TON of emphasis on families, children, parenting, etc. and there are some pretty insensitive things said to me about being childless, as if I don't want children... but I guess this can fall under false assumptions, too.

In addition to those who don't use turn signals (unless doing so is to their benefit), I am absolutely flabbergasted by so many drivers who do not use their headlights on rainy or overcast days (not to mention dusk!). It's clear that they can see, but what about them being seen by the rest of us? Once again, it's a simple case of self-absorbed stupidity. I'll bet it's those same jerks who drive at night with their high beams, driving lights, fog lights, projector lights, etc. blinding the rest of us. And they wonder why there's such a spike in road rage . . .

My biggest pet peeve with drivers is when you're going kinda fast and someone pulls out in front of you and you have to slow down and when you look in the rear view mirror there's no one behind you so they could have waited one more car and you wouldn't have had to slow down. ARGH!!!!! lol.
