If, and that is a big if, gas prices were to plummet.
Service will still be horrible though.

In the near future...at the end of the busy summer travel season...early September...if the prices do not come down..airlines would have to fly airplanes with fewer people...and they would lose even more money.

Not until the price of fuel drops significantly. Airlines are getting killed by the fuel costs.
