Money or all your family issues. Went on a date one time, the guy asked me how much money I made, then proceeded to tell me all about his money (and debts!!) also hashed through his entire family. I mean like Aunt So and So married yadda yadda yadda. I was ready to fall alseep OR run screaming from the place!
What would I ask, I tend to ask things that help me determine if we have things in common. Like I have pets, so I will mention that, or hobbies. Depends on how well I know them really.

One of the worst things to talk about on a date IMHO is religion. The subject can be passionately debated depending on who you talk to and what religion they belong to or worship. I steer clear of making any reference to religion on a date because the point of dating is to have fun while getting to know someone. One question I would ask on a date is what what their goals are: I find that people who have goals are usually more driven and focused which I find attractive in a woman. The questions you ask should be tailored to what you want to know about someone, whether it be their favorite movie or whether they like dogs or cats more. Good luck....

The worst question to ask off the bat would be whether or not you are going to have sex at the end of the date....The best question would be to ask about their favorite things to do or just favorite part of the day.

Keep it simple and fun. Too many questions make it seem more like an interrogation athan a date. Never ask too personal of a question to someone you hardly know. I might ask about how they like their job and what do you do for fun or hobbys etc.

The worse: About how I love my mother and that she is the center of my world, The best: To talk about the funniest things in my life.

Had a date recently who asked me constantly thru dinner, "What are thinking?" It was so annoying. What I was thinking..."I can't wait for this date to be over!!!"

It's not a good idea to ask about the other person's sexual history.
