I wanted to know the mens opinion....My bf and I broke up 3 months ago. A couple of days ago, I broke and decided to call him. We spoke very calm to one another and discussed the issues that lead to the break and what we expected from each other and what we were able to do now to meet needs of concern in the realtionship. Then we jointly decided to give it another try. I think I am still just a bit nervous ....therefore, I wanted to know from the men, could my bf be real in wanting to work out the relationship?

Yes, he might be sincere about wanting to try again, especially if he wasn't dishonest with you when you were together before. (It's a good sign that you were able to discuss things so calmly and thoroughly.) Give him a chance, be forgiving of mistakes (his and yours), and see how it goes. Maybe it will work, maybe not, but the only chance of it working is if you both take the risk and choose to trust each other. Good luck!

Yes, there's always the possibility that he's being totally honest and wants to continue a relationship. If you have discussed your mistakes in your previous attempt and both of you realize that imporvements must be made, then I don't see any reason it can't work. Be honest and stay open about everything. As long as he seems willing to make a change to ensure the success of the relationship, then you should give him another chance.

If he's willing to give it a try, it sounds like he wants the relationship to work.
