reduce energy conservation = use more energy, e.g. drive a Hummer and turn up AC to 65F.

reduce a switch to renewable sources = scrap solar panel lights and do not buy stuff from places that use wind power

Energy is abundant. More than abundant. So you are unintentionally right: we should "reduce energy conservation" and stop thinking about how to use less, and think instead of conserving in an economic sense. Conservation should be focussed on eliminating uneconomic ways of doing things.

The best renewable source of energy for the coming 1000 years is nuclear power. Safe, reliable, inexpensive, non-greenhouse-gas polluting etc.

We have large sources of energy and this energy(non-renewable)is extensively used and there is a chance of getting exhausted.
So in order to conserve this energy for future we must use Renewable source of energy.By using renewable energy problem of pollution can be solved and also global warming can be controlled,but for that we have to reduce use of non-renewable energy.
