If you live far away from your High School are are unable to personal retrieve it you can tell that to the person that needs your transcript (like colleges) and sometimes they will get it for you. However you can contact your high school and they will have it on file (most of them are required to keep files for 99 years after graduation - my high school is).

Contact your high school. Used to be you could just ask and they'd send one. Now, they may expect to be paid for it, and you may have to supply more than name and address.

You may also want to see if your school has a web site, and do a "contact us" and see what they require.

Note. If you want it for college, you have to have the transcript sent directly to the college. It's considered an "official" transcript. Most colleges won't accept one from your hand as the "official" one.
