All this advice about frizz ease and hair cholestoral is awsome, because I have super curly hair and it really works.
But I noticed that flat ironing my hair so much made it more dry and less shiny, which leads to bushiness. So leave that hair straigtner away.
After you shower, first use a generous amount of hair serum. Then use a gel or cream made espeically for curly-girls. Try a brand called noodle head that you can get at sally beauty supply. Also, DON'T SCRUNCH!! That just encourages frizz. Just leave it be, let it air dry, and there you go. Beautiful natural hair.

If you wash your hair every day, switch to every other day. When you wash your hair a lot, it strips your hair of both dirt and healthy oils that keep it calm. It's really hard to break the everyday shampoo habit and go to every other day, but unless you have just super oily hair, there's no reason to wash it more than every other day. The natural oils in your hair will make it softer and more manageable. And if you take the time on the days you wash your hair to dry it and straighten it, get some sort of smoothing product like Garnier Fructis Smoothing Milk and put it in your hair before you style it. When you go to bed, tie your hair back loosely and when you wake up the second day, your hair should be really nice. If you wash before bed, follow the same idea. Just style it before bed and tie it back.
Your hair might also be extremely staticky. A good way to get rid of static charge is get a dryer sheet and just gently smooth it over your hair.

Don't cut it!!! Eeeep! Horrible advice...I have curly frizzy hair...it sucks a lot sometimes because you can't find frizz free hair without it being stiff and untouchable. Anyway, right now I've been using Tresseme products, and they are awesome!!! Also try Aussie products. A lot of it has to do with trying things and seeing what works for you...so just buy some things, and see which product works best for you!!! Just don't give up!

I have found to relatively inexpensive products that I like. I get them at Sally's Beauty Supply. They are both by Beyond Zone one is Get'n Creamed it comes in a pump and is a smoothing cream. I use it after I towel dry my hair. The other is also by Beyond Zone it is called Super Sexy it is a purple tube it is a "styling sauce". They both work really well but don't use alot of either product. The cream is $5.99 and the sauce is $4.99. So they are both very affordable.

Frizz ease makes a spray on curl definer that is not like mousse it leaves your hair looking more natural, if you have curls than use mousse and a diffuser to dry it. Also try pinning up some areas, experiment with you bobby pins, sometimes I pin underneath sometimes on top, it helps flatten out certain areas but you still look like you are wearning your hair completely down. Take charge of you natural beauty and have fun with it.

Get a silicon based product that will help with frizz. I think john freida makes a good one. Leave the straightening iron alone. It dries out your hair, making the frizz worse. LOreal makes a frizz control shampoo and conditioner. They are fantastic. Deep condition regularly with a heavy product.

John Frieda's Frizz Ease products are great. If you deep condition while in the shower, get out and let it dry a little, and then while it's semi-wet, srunch it with the serum. It works like a charm! Frizz turns to sexy soft wave or curls - trust me! I have to do A LOT!
