I am a Christian, and I DON'T think that way, nor do I act that way, and I DON'T pre-judge or judge people.
Yes, many do.
Yes, there are hypocrits in Christianity ... and every other belief system too ... but please don't generalize and lump us all into one bunch.
You are judging and pronouncing against me for my beliefs without ever knowing me or getting to know WHAT I beieve.
That I do resent, as would you or anyone else.

ok i think we need some clarification here.
1) Christians ARE human and as humans it is *unfortunately* only natural to judge others. While we aim not to sometimes the sinner in us kindas pops out from time to time and yes we do judge people. I am not saying it is the right thing to do nor should we be doing it, but unfortunately for us being part of humankind, we follow the sinful patterns of all other humans
2) God will judge everyone. But unlike humans, God has the sole right to do this. He created mankind with the plan that one day at whatever time he plans to, he will end this earth we now live in and judge us for what we have done and judge whether we are his rightful heirs to live with him throughout all eternity in heaven

Where do you get these ideas? I am a Christian and I dont play Judge or Jury... That is up to God... He will judge everyone ... I try to live my life according to Gods teachings...
I have three questions for you 1) why do you ask a question that puts all Christians in one category? and 2) Why is it that if one Christian falls from grace you automatically assume all do? and 3) Do you even know what a hypocrit is?

Why do you think that "christians think they are Judge and Jury of humanity when they also say that God will judge everyone"?
You see thats why you get "attacked." Stupidity at its finest.

Why do people like to take pot shots at christians instead of looking at how they live their life? To be a hypocrite means to say one thing and do another. How could you possibly know all christians and what they do or don't do? Do you hear their confessions? Do you listen to their prayers? Have you talked to all of them and actually heard them jugde "everybody"? Why do atheists do whatever they want and think there are no consequences for their actions now or later? All the people who kill and rape and sell people into drug induced slavery and sell women and children for sex, and beat up people or kill them for money, who do they bow to? Who is their God? They lie because it is in their best interest to do so and they do it because they have no fear of any God. Then they say " oh look at those hypercritical christians who can't seem to be perfect" Lets divert our attention to them and maybe no one will notice the horrendous life I am living. I think that about says it all. I hope I didn't come off as judgemental. I am not judging I am just reporting life as I see it. I am still allowed to have an opion.

I am a Christian and I try very hard no to judge anyone. I have opinions like everyone does. That's a human trait and no one can look at anything without forming an opinion about it. It can't happen. A Christian can keep his or her opinions to themselves though and not judge. Only God can do that.

I am Christian by faith, but don't consider myself to be judge and jury over humanity. Not every christian is like how you suggest. You need to judge the individual, not an entire religion. God is the only judge.

Yes that is hypocrasy but that doesn't mean christianity is wrong, but that it just goes against our prideful nature. Christians are allowed to judge other christians, who are in effect their spiritual brothers and sisters (1 Corinthians 5:12-13), and can expell the immoral brother. However judging others is not their business. However, often christians are accused of being judgmental, when they are not intentionally. If you know what is right, should you not point others in the right direction?

even besides the undeniable fact that those different sins are merely as undesirable, i imagine we've a tendency to imagine of homosexuality as being worse because (a million) that is the in person-friendly words sin in scripture that's both a sin AND a judgment from God (see Romans a million) (2) it really is between the few sins for which God destroyed total cities (3) that is the only sin that Christ likened the merely right days to (sodom and gomorrah) (4) that is the merely right sin in what's many times a progression of sin for the period of an empire's decline. no longer keeping this makes it the more serious, yet merely taking be conscious it really is a progression. The sequence many times starts with idolatry, then heterosexual immorality, then gay immorality, culminating in reprobatism. yet from scripture all of us comprehend that a unmarried transgression against the law is a transgression adverse to the total regulation, so all sin calls for repentance and forgiveness, regardless what it really is.

My mother taught me to believe in God and she prayed a lot. She tried to keep the ten commandments. My mother never turned her back on anyone or judge them because she "got it". She understood that people make mistakes and she understood that people have limited comprehension as well as different comprehension of things. Anyone could tell by the way my Mom lived that she was a Christian and she never once had to inform people she was one. I'm getting where I don't go to church much anymore because when I go to voters meetings, I see venomous hatred spewing from these "church leaders and congregations" mouths. I've never seen such cruelty and hostility. They speak horribly to the pastor and humiliates him. I can't go sit in a church despising the person in front of me. I will just stay at home and be my own teacher.
