APPLE PIE!!!

Ingredients
Premade pie crust
3/4 cup white sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 cups apples (you may need more or less by size)

Peel apples, spray pie pan with Pam.
I can give you a homemade crust recipe if you want it. Otherwise, Put 1 of the crusts in pie pan.
In bowl mix sugar, flour and cinnamon, stir in apples to coat. Dot with butter. Top with 2nd crust, cut several slits in top, cover edges with foil until last 10 minutes. bake 425 degrees for 35-45 minutes.

Well, there's the classic red, white and blue jello pie you can make. get red jello and put it in a graham cracker pie crust, let it chill for about 2 hours, then put cool whip and let it chill, lastly put the blue jello on top of that and let it chill. It ends up a pretty red, white and blue layer pie that's delicious.

There's also the regular cake I make sometimes. I like yellow cake with cool whip for frosting. Then I get blueberries and put a few on the upper left-hand corner like stars, and cut strawberries in half to make them the stripes. It's a hit everytime.

Lastly, I like making sugar cookies...the real ones you make from scratch. Just get a star cut out, and paint it red or blue. To make the dyes, get about 12 drops of red and one egg yolk, as well as 2 drops of water. Same for the blue. If you really want white, get some confectioners' sugar and water, put in a pastry bag, and draw to your heart's content.

I LOVE the 4th of July because the desserts are a blast to make. Hope this helps!

Just make a plain vanilla layer cake. Use raspberry preserves for the center filling. Decorate the top with vanilla icing, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. If available (and somewhat legal) put a sparkler in the middle for a candle. Have a Happy 4th!!

Fresh fruit cobbler, homemade ice cream with some homemade butterscotch and hot fudge sauces, and lightly sweetened fruit to serve over the ice cream.

Strawberry and blueberry shortcake is easy, tasty, and looks patriotic. Try that!
