as my favorite author rationalized, without faith, god does not exist (think about that one; it will make sense). if one were to ever prove the existence of god (e.g., by seeing him, and talking with him), faith would no longer be necessary (think about that one, too). since faith would not be necessary, there would be no faith, and, hence, god will cease to exist. so, then, by proving the existence of god, god will cease to exist. got it?

I can feel him. I was just explaining this to my 4 year old son the other night. I was a little nervous that he would not understand, but he seems to really get it. I just told him that you cannot see God, but you can feel his love. You know that he is there when your prayers are answered. Sometimes it takes time, but he always answers, but sometimes the answer is no. I know he protects me and my children due to close calls and personal experience.I just know that he is there. I do have a couple of questions I would like to ask though. I guess that I will just have to waite till I do see him.

Yes, but Isa 6:1-5, comes to mind. This is a God that can not only destroy my body, but also the breath of life that He gave me to make me alive, He can also destroy the very MEMORY of me! All because I am a sinful being, I can not stand in His presence, It Would Completely Annihilate Me! The only way to talk to God is through His Son Jesus. There is no other way.

"And this gospel shall be preached unto the whold world THEN the end shall come" there are two Ways in which to "see" GOD when He returns for those like me and I pray you that are READY to meet Him in peace or the when He returns the third time to deal with the wicked and they are eternaly destroyed, but everyone stands before God, hear Him when you pray then be quiet and listen He will if you seek Him with all your heart be found of you. and if you love Him keep His commandments [not suggestions] and that includes the fourth commandment which is the seventh day Sabbath. free bible lessons www.itiswritten.com talk to me wgr88@yahoo.com

I do. Maybe not face to face .... but you can see him in everything around us........a flower, the smile on a child's face, the first breath of an infant, even the last words of your dying grandmother. I talk to God all day long and he does answer my prayers. You just have to keep your eyes and mind open.

I do wish to see him and know that as David and Job said One day I will. Would I like the CERTAINTY of knowing God listens to me. I can have that certainty only through Faith. Do I sometimes despair of that Certainty, Yes. Will I know for sure? Some days I feel I do. Does he Love me and always SEE me? Of course. Sometimes when talking to my son or looking in to the eyes of my Wife I see his love for me. When My Daughter Hugs me I feel his Tenderness. When I Worship him I sometimes here him Laughing in Joy. Other times I feel his desire for me to do better and his love is poured over me to try to coach me through my trying times.

I see Him every day as the sun rises and sets. I see Him in every newborn child. I see Him in beautiful acts of nature and feel the awe of His presence. I see Him in my children's laughter and in each wedding. Look around you. He's there.

I also talk to Him every day. I thank Him for the sunrise and the sunset. I thank Him for my children. I thank Him for the rain and snow. I ask Him for guidance in every choice I make -- He has yet to fail me.

How can you NOT see Him? How can you NOT thank Him for His blessings? Incredible.

Ask not what God can do for you; ask what you can do for God!

Yes, and even though I know he hears my prayers, I would just like to sit down and talk to him.

No, I wouldn't want to find out that he was a guy. I never understood why Christians always referred to God as a he.
