Of course the reasons for war in Iraq changed every year. First, WMD, Then to get Saddam, Now it's to give Iraqi people freedom. So what about North Korea? They have a dictator. Are they next?

You forget there is nothing of value in North Korea. So they are of no threat to us. Now if they had one of the largest oil supplies we would have a number set to them. But as you can see the largest oil field is playing the game and giving us oil and investing money in the USA and number 2 Iraq .. well we are there now. .Number 3 largest oil field is Iran which we will go after next. Americans don't like RICE which is all Korea has. So they have nothing of value to us so till they do something that will embarrass us they will have no problems with the USA at all.

Some WMD were found. The rest are in Syria and being given to Palestinians to be used on Israelis. Saddam was a dictator and supporting attacks on our friends the Israelis. We let the Iraqis down the first gulf war after we told them we would help them overthrow Saddam. We didn't and many Iraqis died at the hand of Saddam. We owe them freedom.

Iran is next then north Korea. We are working with China that has its own interest in these countries. Iran is slightly more likely to give a bomb to a terrorist. I think we need a doctrine of Hitting both of these countries if we get hit with an atomic bomb. Within 30 min. we should have a nuke on the way for each country. That way the North Koreans would watch Iran and Iran would watch North Korea.

First of all your statement about the reasons for the war in Iraq are a fallacy. In the statement leading upto the war Bush named multiple reasons for going to war. WMD was at that time the main one.

North Korea is a different story. China has huge economic reasons for helping keep NK in check and they have. As for who is next I believe it is pretty obvious that Iran will be next with NK a distant third.

Bush has his eyes on that move. Just give the war-crazy idiot the provocation. He'd also like to go to war with Iran. And to think, he was afraid to serve in the military, having Daddy get him a place in the National Guard. Just goes to show that you don't have to serve in the military to be a great warrior!!! Personally, I'd love to see that fool fighting in the front lines in Iraq - he wouldn't last a day.

Nope,George W is totally afraid of North Korea or rather China who would back them in a conflict.China would not even hesitate to drop several dozen nukes on the USA.They have 1.3 billion people and they could use a good thining if a nuke war broke out.

right now we are just trying to prevent an attack from North Korea. their gov't has spent all of their money to build up its military and there would be much more blood shed to attempt what we are doing in Iraq

Every conflict is started based upon "other" circumstances. The threat to the world/US, nature of the threat, possibility of success, overall outcome, and whether or not action is actually needed.

..and you would Richard W?
