When I was younger....havent' been able to do it since....I had 7 experiences of being out of my body.

I was very involved with a girl at the time, very deeply in love but we lived in seperate towns, 2 hours apart (we use to live in same town but my job moved me).

We saw each other every weekend, etc.

(don't take this part wrong but its how I got there)

One night I was sitting around getting high and I was into classical type music at that time and had most of the Yanni CD's. I laid back stoned and just got very very relaxed in the dark listening to the music.

After awhile of thinking of her I ended up picturing my apartment in my head. Then opening the door and when I got outside it was like I was flying about 20 feet above the ground. I could see the roads I would take and all but I was moving at least 3 times faster than I would in a car.

After a few minutes of very indepth sites in my head of the trip of 2 hours I arrived at her front door, I then went into the house and up to her room. I sat on the bed and said her name a few times and I saw her wake up and then POOF I was awake and back in my apartment.

I shrugged it off thinking...WOW what an odd dream. Then the phone rang and it was her (mind you this was like 2am) and she said "what did you want?". I said, what? What are you talking about and she said, well you woke me up, what did you want.

Well the next day we talked about this and she said she must of been dreaming cause she barely remembered calling me, me waking her up, etc.

So few night later I got curious and I did it all again, all the same way. And again I woke her up and I said to her "call me and say boom boom" and POOF I woke up and again a few minutes later she calls and says "what is boom boom?"

At this point I freak out but she still isn't convinced. So we try it a few more times and she leaves a word or two on a paper next to her bed for me to say if I am really there. I wake her up and she calls me and I tell her what is on the paper.

At this point we are both convinced. Being young (19 yrs old) we never took it as an outter body experience but more of we must be meant for each other, we are soul mates, etc.

We ended up doing it like 7, 8 times total then it quit. Looking back the only thing that changed anything was I got promoted at that time and my stress level seriously increased. I think being unable to relax to that level anymore is what has kept me from doing it anymore so far.

Many times in my life I have tried to reproduce it, with friends, with gf's, even tried to re-connect to her even though we are no longer together, etc. But never could even get my mind relaxed enough to even start the flying and viewing part.

They say a child can see ghosts, the Lord, etc due to innocence and we loose that innocence as we learn and age.

The best thing I can say is I lucked out due to my age at that time, guess I am not as innocent as I once was.

no.
there's no scientific proof up to now that you can go out of your body by hypnosis.out of the body or astral travel takes place during dreams and near death experiences.it's also experienced when induced with high level of alcohol or drugs. astral travel is actually subjective and cannot be ordered by hypnotist to a subject.even hypnosis is still very controversial today due to few evidences.hypnosis however is done when there is a hypnotist and a subject.a subject do whatever the hypnotist asked him to do.and take note only the gullible or persons with weak personality can be hypnotized.hypnotism is said to be used for healing and meditation.it aims to relax your mind and should not cause fear and anxiety.

try looking throug some psychology books to assist you.

Yes, I believe it can be done.

I have done it without the help of hypnosis, although it took a while. I just meditated for a while, and found that astral travel just came natural.

There are many helpful websites on the subject, but I've always used "www.ladyoftheearth.com"

Best of luck!

You can use hypnosis to slow down your conscious thoughts so you can sneak through them to elsewhere unknown.

There's lots of good newer books out about astral travel. Go to your local library and read up on a few.

Astral holiday is real. this is lucid on the time. The state you're waiting to be certain to be in to do astral holiday precludes it from being lucid each and each and each and all of the time. I did astral holiday over an prolonged era on a similar time as i replaced into plenty youthful, why i do no longer understand even though the reality of its being replaced into 'proved' greater powerful than as straight away as via utilising what I mentioned and next archives. this is an involuntary act which you're completely cognisant of yet no longer actual waiting to coming up tangible concepts approximately. this is which you would be waiting to adventure the kind and characteristic finished memory of it at cutting-edge after its end yet have in basic terms little administration of its direction as this is occurring. If i replaced into in a different state of readiness after slipping into the countless plane, i ought to desire to be certain for to bypass or no longer bypass yet i ought to no longer be certain to astral holiday on a similar time as completely extensive wide awake then bypass and do it. The state of readiness from which I astral travelled replaced into gradually denied me till I no longer had the ability to bypass any further yet I via no ability forgot something I did and that i vividly submit to in concepts each and each and each and all of the episodes. Cheers

It's also called dreaming. Astral projection is a silly mind game.

Do you mean please don't answer if you haven't traveled by the way you described? I know I have definitely never traveled that way, and neither has anyone with whom I am acquainted. I'd suggest planes, trains and buses if you want to get anywhere in particular.

Meditation can take you to a place that feels like your gone from your body but I've never found myself flying around galaxies. That would be very cool.
