While I am a Christian I do think we an egotistical God. He created man to worship him. What more can I say. He is a jealous God. Says so in the Bible. Our God needs total devotion and total worship of him or we will feel his wrath. Personally, I am afraid. Very afraid. Sort of reminds me of an abusive husband.

Yes. Absolutely. We did not create GOd so we could worship Him, He created us, so we could worship Him. If He did not create us, He would still have been there.
