There are ways to straighten the hair temporarily (ie - blow dry, flat iron, certain shampoos). Or long term (relaxer, japanese straighten). But there is no way to permentally straighten one's hair because the hair grows from the folucules curly as it is molecularly and genectically programmed too. Unless you change your genetic structure, you will also have wavy/curly hair. My suggestion is to use a blowdryer to straighten, but deep condition your hair each night (Frizz Ease) to keep it soft and healthy.

There are no natural ways to permanently straighten your hair. But you could flat iron it and it will be straight for a while if you don't get it wet. As far as chemical straightening goes you don't want to ruin your hair but if you want to permanently straighten it without risking it you can use a baby perm on your hair because it is so much less dangerous than hard perms and still with the same affect but have a professional do it because if you buy it and its too old that will be problematic for your hair. In truth though eventually your hair will grow out and be curly again.

No there isn't. Your hair is the way it is, that's what's natural. I use a straightening comb, with a blow dryer when I get out of the shower, it usually lasts until I wash my hair again which I do every other day. It makes your hair feel soft and isn't frizzy and it's really nice. Use thermasilk though, that will make the damage of the blow dryer less extreme.

No. The only way to straighten naturally curly hair is to use harsh chemicals or heat. Both options will, immediately or over time destroy your hair.

You can use a straightening comb or a no lye relaxer, while not totally natural, it does not have the harsh element of the lye. Also CHI ceramic flat irons work mirales as well.

I use a straightening iron. You can get them in the curling iron section of any store. I absolutely love mine. Some days I can have my wavy hair and other days I can have it straight if I want.
