the age gap is fine wel i think personally, as long as ur at the same level and u understand where u both are in the relationship then u'l be fine, i've always dated older guys, when i was 16 i dated someone 23 we didnt have any problems we got on really well and age wasn't a concern, jus make sure u don't feel pressured to do anything, ok
but apart from that i don't see a probalem with the age, i know this sound cheesy but its true, age ain't nothing but a number, lol

If everything's going smoothly and your parents approve then i wouldn't worry. If he's not bothered then nor should you be. It's really not a big age gap as mentally/ emotionally girls are older anyhow. But don't ever be pushed into somthing you don't like just coz he does it ie sex, drinking etc. As long as you are both happy together and comfortable with your age then it's not a problem.

i think that at 14 you feel like a grown up but your not and you have to understand that this boy will have very different views and thoughts of the relationship and where he wants it to lead.
At 14 your idea of a relationship is all kisses and cuddles and im afraid a 17 year old lad might expect a little more, no matter what he says now, it will be on his mind.

Nothing wrong with that as long as he is willing to wait until you are old enough for a serious relationship. It's hard to find Mr Right so if you think you've found him, hang on to him for dear life, sod what everyone else thinks.

You are a minor under sixteen and he is seriously breaking the law.
You will get care and protection.
He will get jail.
Your parents are colluding and will also be in trouble.
You should not be alone with him, ever, and should be chaperoned.
My four daughters were always chaperoned and driven and met, everywhere they went under sixteen. That's why they never got pregnant before marriage, and are all sensible, well adjusted adults, inside monogamus relationships.
You are too young to get involved, enjoy your childhood while it lasts.

It depends on how mature you are. I spent two weeks one summer with a girl who had just graduated from eighth grade who was as mature as two other kids who had just graduated from high school. She was up on current events, arts and culture, was just delightful. I took all three to an art museum.
