I know I have enjoyed them and plan to in the future. It has been interesting and enlightening asking and answering questions.
I've learned a lot.

Peace,
Debra

Discussions? Most of it is a rehash of previous questions and answers. Rarely to I get any new information to work with. Few people have an original thought. Most questions are just flamebait made with insincerity at actually finding out new perspectives. Most answers are emotional responses enticed by the flamebaited questions. Many of the arguments of the answers to questions are cleverly infected logical fallacies which I began believing was unintentional, but now I'm beginning to believe is a concerted effort. Many can't even answer the question as proposed:
i.e.

Q. "This question is for all you ATHEISTS. Why don't you believe in God?"
A. "I'm a Christan. My house will serve the Lord"

Doesn't even come close to the question, does it?
So yeah, to answer your question, I'm enjoying the hell out of this lunacy, see how people really tick in this country, not by the actual content of their response, but by the way they respond. Perhaps the religious right is correct when they say this country is doomed. Based on the method people are demonstrating their critical thinking skills, we may be F....ked!

I enjoy it immensely. While I have to skip over some of the very rude items. Those with even a hint of question, I enjoy answering as it helps me learn to have an answer for my faith to anyone who asks.

It's very fascinating. I cannot understand how people on all sides of religion can be so sure that they are right. It's almost like faith and arrogance are interchangable at times. I do enjoy this forum quite a bit though.

Some have been enriching... others have been so frustrating with the hateful wquestions based on gullability and closedmindedness. The open-minded questions are nice though.

i probably would enjoy them if i hadn't had 4 years of required theology classes shoved down my throat. i respect the discussions but i feel i get too much of it in class so they kinda give me a headache.

I do! I especially adore the debates with extremists and fundies. I love poking holes in their fairytale idea of existence! lol

It does let you know what the rest of the world is believing or not believing. Religion is a touchy subject.
