There are so many performers who speak clearly and without accent. (I'm talking about 'general american' right now.) Who should I learn from?
Thank you!

What kind of accent do you have and why do you want to change it? Sometimes the accent is like a personal mark. But if you really wanna change it, and since you're a girl, I strongly recommend you watch all the movies with Heather Locklear. She's got this incredibly beautiful pronunciation.

Listening to others will not help very much with accent. What you need to do is speak the language yourself and ask people who do speak it without an accent to correct you. The best idea is not to ask this of everyone but a few trusted friends with whom you speak frequently.

Everyone speaks with an accent. Be proud of it. Or watch the movie "My Fair Lady".

Hey! Well most people get a vocal coach. This vocal coach will direct you to Ohio-natives. (People Who Live In Ohio). For most people, to get to that "general american" accent; look to Ohioans. For some reason, I don't know.

Watch national news programs - they are trained to have no accent at all. Try Fox, CNN or the nightly news on NBC, CBS or ABC. NOT local news - only national.
