The do not accept this concept because it contradicts everything that the bible teaches. They want to hold onto their faith no mater what the cost is even if it means ignoring the glaring proof right in front of their eyes. The problem is that they somehow seem to be gaining ground. It seems that in the last couple of years creationism has gained a new foothold. If it becomes comonplace to teach creationism along with evolutionism and our children are taught that evolution is just a theory and that creationism is just as logical of an answer. Than I truly believe that mankind is doomed. I just hope people come to their senses and think rationally, and Im not just talking about Christians, Im talking about every other religion too. The world would be much better off without any form of religion.

Now let's see. What sounds more like a fairy tale? The Darwin Theory and The Theory of Evolution. First put forth by the scientists, Jean Baptiste de Lamarck & later Charles Darwin or A big invisible man in the sky created the Earth and all of its inhabitants in 7 days?
I truely believe that Christians are sheep that follows a controlling organization to keep them in line. Think for yourselves for a change.

I as a Christian believe that there are two races here, one that was created by God and I will say God people, and the other that evolved from apes or primates that we can call primate people. I only say that as so many insist that they were not in any form or fashion made by God. I take them at their word as they know their lives better than I do. So they call themselves primate people..
Myself as a Christian I feel the presence of God in my life and have a happy and wonderful time with my heavenly Father..
The primate people probably have primate urges from their primate ancestors and like to monkey around a lot.. you actually have to ask them to get the story straight..

Christians would have to give up some beliefs they were taught by their parents, churches and society to accept certain things It would put a lot of history from the bible into question. It all boils down to beliefs. Follow the science that has proven certain things to be correct, or incorrect. We're a long way from really knowing, so faith and hope are our only need for now, even though it may all be wrong.

Now let's see. What sounds more like a fairy tale? Let's look at Darwin. First there was a one celled creature. Then, somehow it became more complex and added a cell. Eventually it became so complex as to become man.
But that contradicts every other science. Radium loses particles through decay and becomes lead. Lead does not somehow create particles and become radium. Stars use up their fuel eventually becoming less complex and capable of releasing energy and they die. Man is born young and vibrant then ages and dies. He is not born dead only to become younger and stronger. One of the most basic of all scientific concepts is that the Universe ages, and, in the dissipation of energy, becomes less complex.
Darwin would have us believe that man is the single exception. First there was one cell, then 100, then something like a monkey, then man. If we follow this through to its logical conclusion, men eventually become gods. But then what do we do? Stop believing in man?
Scientifically speaking it sounds like a fairy tale to me.
Real science suggests that life started out as complex as the planet on which it arose. Then genes aged, died out, became corrupted by radiation and disease, etc. They did not get better.
So God made man and all the animals. Each eventually sprouted worn out de-evolved lines. One of those lines which started with man became the apes.
If you want to use science to support you disbelief, at least select a science that doesn't ignore science.

Because it goes against their principle belief that humans were created perfect and separate from animals. That is what set them apart to be God's special creation. The story is in Genesis chapter 2 vs.4-25. Some Christians do believe in evolution and some believe that God used evolution to create humanity.

We believe that God made us from Adam and Eve who indeed did come from dust. Its as easily askin if you believe in miracles. Because Jesus Christ is real, and yes they have hard evidence. He died on the cross for me and you. Thats how I know I didn't come from an ape. Besides thats theory...not true!!<3

easy it goes against what we believe and know, Man came from God, not from a ape, a idea that comes from man. Also man's way of thinking is flawed, as seen in Doogma.

Because it does not follow what God revealed to us in the Bible. It contrasts directly with God creating us versus random mutation.
In addition, I personally believe there is more faith requried to believe in evolution than in God creating.

some Christians do believe in evolution - the Old Testament is taught as a history of salvation not as a science, history book.
