Peace and Love

Anger. Peace is a waste of time, because there's no point to it, aside from irking someone's nerves. Better yet, I'd rather screw both of those, and just follow instinct. Far better than regular, human emotions.

This is a silly question. Of course we will all say "loving" peace.

But you know, I become motivated to speak up and create change when I am angry. I don't get angry very often, but when really pushed, look out. I don't like remaining in anger mode - but when that anger can be used to create positive change, then it is not all bad. Then we can return to the peace state better than ever.

PS - your use of the adjectives hateful and loving are prejudicial to the question. Not all peace is loving. Ask any happy single person, and anger doesn't have to be hateful. Hence the term righteous indignation.

Peace and Love of course. But I guess the real question is why???

Hatred and anger consume the soul. The sure end is an early death. You have of course heard that is takes only a few muscles to smile, but hundreds to frown. Love nourises the soul, makes it grow, but anger destroys.

The question could then in hard terms be rephrased to say, would you rather die than live?

Peace, as I am sure most people would.

Anger is negative emotion that can fuel other angers, and can cause health problems with too much stress. It just isn't a good way to live.

Peace will soothe the spirit, the body and mind. It will make you happier and more content in life and I would tend to try and spread it.

Anger has it's place though. If we are attacked we need to activate the "flight or fight" reflex. The problem is to not let yourself get caught in the emotion where it becomes your life. I once had a horrible roommate that did just that. He ended up with three kids from three different women, two of which didn't want anything to do with him. Bad things kept happening to him. He pissed off a driver so much that the man spun his car 90 degrees to block my roommate and chew him out. The last I heard he had locked his keys in his car and ended up going to jail for assault on some poor woman who just happened to be too near to him when his rage struck.

Loving peace.

Loving peace, of course. Hateful anger would just suck, and though it's more productive in the economic sense (1984), that's not what makes the world go round.

it is difficult to live in loving peace. you could live in love, but i can't say that peace comes so easily. anger is an emotion that can come out whenever it wants to as well as love, so i don't think you can control which one you live in, because you almost always live in both.
