the most beautiful and less damaging way, but also most expensive would be to get a "japanese perm" also known as "thermal reconditioning." These are much more effective than regular chemical straighteners and don't "fry" your hair like the regular chemical straighteners.
A Japanese Perm can take as long as 6 hours to do, though, depending how much hair you have.. but the quality is so much better than regular chemical straighteners. Your hair will look and feel more soft than ever.
Once your hair is straight, though, you will have to go in every 8 months or so to get the roots redone. Ask your salon if they offer it as a service. It's hard to find in some areas, but don't let them talk you into getting a regular "chemical straightening."
google "japanese perm" to find out more info.
here's some info on them-

It depends on what type of hair you have. If it's thick they can put in a solution that will make your hair stay straight for a while, but you would have to ask your stylist how long it stays, since I can't see your hair. If you have thin or weak hair (which a lot of dying can cause weak hair) It's probably not a good idea for you since chemical straightener is extremely hard on hair. If your hair isn't up to the challenge, you may experience hair loss. If you think you'll be ok, you should consult with a stylist first. If you think your hair is too weak or thin, don't bother, because (If you have a good stylist) she'll tell you not to do it.

You can get your hair chemically straightened at a beauty salon. It usually does alot of damage to the hair though. Also, you better make sure you want it straight for a long time because you won't get those waves back until your hair grows out.

It's not advisable--especially since you dye your hair. Chemical straighteners are the most damaging thing you can put on your hair--plus in a few months your roots will grow in curly. Unless you're African American stay away from chemical straightening.

Yes you can, supposedly. I don't know if it would work though. I have stick straight hair naturally. But I dont advise it. My friend also dies her hair and straightens, and recently a part of her hair got burned off.
