" Just to add to it they may have been in a "settle-for" or "convenience" relationship, or possibly could have been a serial monogamists or something, but I would think that it is more likely something missing. Men & or women have been known to cheat. It's sad really, but I guess to make sure both people in a relationship are right for each other 100% and keep God as the captain, then the chances of "slipping up" in that area is greatly decreased and/or even deminished. because they don't have the integrity to abandon the primal desire to spread their seed as far and wide as they can. Or because they want to experience as many partners as possible before settling down with just one and so to optimize their sex to searching for mate necessity they string a girl on whose definetely not the one but is fun and doesn't break his balls too much while he also looks further. Or sometimes they just downright don't want one partner but don't know how to say it when they know it would mean the end of the relationship they're in. Or because they have a religious obligation to stay with a partner and the social pressure against divorce is so high that they would rather cheat

Well, from the movie 'What Women Want,' they cheat because they are obssesed with their own equipment. They believe ignorantly they can have as many girls as they want. Like one women isn't enough. And, don't tell me that if that one women would do what ever he wants he would never cheat, because I dealt with that once. It's hard to find the guy that doesn't ever cheat on you, love you probably more then you love yourself.

There could be several reasons, first, cheating may fill a void in their life, second, insecurity or low self esteem. That person needs to fill that void with JESUS. The BIBLE is our Manuel to live by, just as products come with a operator's Manuel. To many times with try to live with our own understanding or view of life. That's insane! God knows our beginning and end. He loves us and if we don't know our purpose we will abuse ourselves.

some people (and i say people because women cheat, too!) just can't be in monogamous relationships. Being with a new person, experiencing the excitement and riskiness is like a drug and can be addictive.
