I am a single mom with one child and one on the way. I recently posted a question and recieved several very helpful answers which I am extremely greatful for. But there is one answer that really bothers me...Use a condom! To whom it may concern I was on birth control and I just happen to have gotten pregnant. I am the better person for taking responsibility for my actions. I have raised my child to the best of my knowledge and will continue to do the same. If someone would be so kind to let me know why are people so quick to judge.

People are extremely quick to judge because it is human nature to do so. No matter how hard a person tries, he or she will immediately judge someone even if they don't say anything about it. It is the way in which all humans are brought up and will continue to be brought up because it is simply human nature to be brought up as such.

I missed your previous question but I still think it's great that you are raising children on your own. It takes a very strong woman to do so and I applaude your strength and integrity. The person who posted that response should be ashamed of what they wrote. But sadly, that is again the way of human nature and there is nothing we can do about it. There will always be that one idiot in the crowd who cannot see past the obvious and will always jump to conclusions.

Well, it's important to remember that the folks on this site are not professionals. You have no clue who you are talking to when asking a question. Anybody can click on it and answer. It's also difficult to determine how well the person who answered you read the question you posed, did they scan through it and post a quick flip reply or give it some good thought before replying?

Unfortunately, we become open game when asking advise here. I've actually removed several of my questions and don't really ask anything anymore for that reason. Advise from strangers is kind of a scary thing...I think I'm pretty normal and hope my insite helps you, but I guess you never know because you will never meet me, right? :)

Take care of yourself and your family. I hope you end up very happy and have a healthy baby.

Some people are Quick to judge because they don't take into account the other person or to take time to understand the other person. Also many people today are just mean.

I know a girl who used birth control and got pregnant anyway and shes a single Mom working hard to support her son. I support her completely and have the highest respect for what she's done to do the right thing.

Best to you!

It is human nature to judge everyone does it you even do it from time to time and if you dont think you do then ask yourself what you think when you see a homeless person cause thats judgeing. you cant control it you just do it but judgeing isnt the bad part in your situation. the bad part that the person who posted the comment should get help for is thinking before you speak. Hope this helps

People are quick to judge and slow to take responsibilty for their judgements of others. Have you ever noticed that those with rude comments don't allow themselves to be contacted via E-mail or messenger?

You know yourself, you made the right decision for your child and yourself, and you're obligated in no way whatsoever to gain the approval of ANYONE on the internet, much less those who try to bring you down. Don't allow total strangers to dictate to you what decisions you should make or how you should live your life. You're better and stronger than that.

So you've never judged anyone? Ever? Hypocrite! We've all done it, whether you admit it or not. (Remember the last time you thought "Wow, that gal is ugly") Who knows why we all do it at one time or another, we all have our reasons I suppose. You'd better hop off that high horse before somebody knocks you off of it. If you don't like being judged, do yourself a favor and don't judge others either. Kharmas a ***** baby!

Because in your question asking for cheap housing and a car, it appears as though you're asking for a handout.

Well, that's the way I interpreted it when I read it.

If you don't provide information or circumstances that lead you to the predicament you're in, people will judge. I don't think it's right, but it is...the way it is.

No one can answer that, but I think people can hide behind the anonymity of the internet and say things intentionally hurtful. They may not even really feel what they say, but they can say it without any recourse.
Shake it off and move on. We're not all like that.
