do you mean an automatic generator, one that will start on its own when the power fails? please be more specific. as another said,l a perpetual motion machine does not exist. it would have to be more than 100% efficient and there is no device that is a pure 100% efficent let along say 120%. be more specific in what your looking for.

what do you mean a self powered generator? a generator is a something that takes some sort of energy sorce and converts it to electricity. that energy source could be gas or solar energy, water or sometin like that. So there is no such thing as a self powered generator? it needs power to do its job, generate

Because that doesn't make sense. All generators need some kind of fuel. So none are technically "self" powered
