If you are a beginner, go to any large store, e.g. Wall Mart and get yourself what is known as a 'half-set'. They should be very cheap. If you are progressing well with them, go to a proper Pro Shop at a Golf Club or Driving Range and speak to the Professional. Take his advise, but be a little wary, get a price from him/her for a specific set and leave. Go to another and bargain on the basis of the first price. Go to another and do the same. You will find that the first price is about 40 percent higher than you actually pay. Good luck.........

Yard sells. I got my set from a pissed off woman. Apparently her husband liked golf more than her. Now, he doesn't have a wife or clubs. I got a whole set for $25. That was 8 years ago and I still use the clubs.

good, but cheap (not cheep) golf clubs may be found at any reputable pawn shop. If, you are looking for "cheep" golf clubs you might find them in a pet store recycled for bird perches!!!

if you are going to buy cheap clubs.. dont even start playing the game.. you are going to miss out on the technology of todays equipment.. and that technololgy helps make this game easier to play.. cheap equipment will lead you to never playing again.
