I have been with my boyfriend for 8 months now...Things are good between us but I've noticed something lately...Right after he goes thru a period where he is so loving and tender, he withdraws for a while...Is this common for guys....And i'm talking in a subtle way, not as in he disappears , just become emotionally distant...

most likely he has some issue with giving up to the whole love idea he probally would really like to be close to you all the time but he is worried that if he gets to attached he will get burned

no, that's not normal really. It just depends on the guy. You either need to put up with it or find someone else.

i don't think this is a guy thing, some girl are like that too, it all depends on the person and the things that happens.
