How come God is always depicted as a bearded old man in the sky, sounds like he looks more like sante-clause than a "God" to me.

Artists throughout the ages have tried to depict God in various ways. This is only one of them. They seem to depict Him with the vision of the current society. Go to a major Art museum and look at the religious art(some are on the web). It is interesting to see how various periods saw things differently or percieved modesty or piety in different ways.

We know from scripture that no one can see God and live, so no one on earth has ever seen Him but Jesus.

God has no fabric properties to His existance. except you're bearing on His Son, often called Jesus Christ. yet till Jesus replaced into born, there replaced into no fabric supstance to any component to God. God is organic, consequently His visual charm is blindling mild. yet, He has variety of a few kiind. as an occasion, "He" is a lot greater beneficial than the even the assumption of male or lady, bearing on Him interior the male pronoun is so below what he's. The human concepts is amazingly constrained in what it may draw close of heavenly issues. yet God does exist. he's a "guy or woman." He has a character.

You should see the Harley God rides. I've got it on good authority; crome baby; lots of crome. So if your going for a visitation soon wear shades. Oh yeah, the "Beard in the Sky" thing; sure; that sounds right to me.

Santa Clause? LOL

God is whatever you make him/her out to be. I think that one's depiction of God depends on the individual.

That is because the artists depicted Him that way . If He is bearded , it is by His choice , not mans . Blessed be the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ . Praise Him !

No, that is cartoon religion. No ne really knows what God looks like, but if you go and read the story of the Transfiguration, where Jesus became like dazzling light, you can maybe sort of get the feel for it.

That's cuz what you saw was actually Santa Claus, silly. Didn't you notice the red sleigh and the reindeer? Sheesh!!
When God comes calling, you'll get to see Him, and then you will know what He looks like.

I don't think he is. Considering God made us in his own image I'd perfer to think he looks like some young guy then some scarey old man.
