I have never believed that the child should always be with the mother. Come on... the child wouldnt be born if it werent for the mother and father. The child needs both parents. It isn't anybody's decision but the mother and father, who the child should live with!! It depends on the circumstances. Sometimes the father is in a better place at this time in life. Think about what is in the best interest of the child at THAT time. A lot of times it could be the father.... a father is a parent too. Why does it always have to be the mother? That is just my opinion

It's hard because people are not really used to it yet. I cannot you how much I admire a man that steps up to plate for his. I knew someone that his ex wife got $3000 a month support every time he would pick up his kids they needed shoes or hair cuts . Finally when her new husband kicked them out on the house {the she got from the divorce} all the mother said we may have to sell the because your child support I don't think we can make it. They both had good paying jobs. Some women should not have the kids because of hr life style or other reasons . So hang in ther your kids will love you for it.

Of course they can. In fact probably better.
Women are ruled by their emotions. Single moms always blame all their problems on the deadbeat they chose to procreate with.
That gives them an excuse for their failures and they have crybaby parties with all their other whiny friends.
A man will figure out how to support his family. Kids are easier to raise when they've got a full belly and a stable roof over their heads.

Yes I believe so. Things have changed and it is much easier today than even 10 years ago for a man to be a single parent. You have many resources these days. Good Luck!

Of course he can as long as he is really tuned in to his children.
Single parents (male or female) have a hard job as they have to be both mother and father. Use all of the resources you have available in your community and above all find all the patience you have in the world.

of course...if they want to and believe they can. a father has just as much love for his children as a mother does. he may have a bit harder time raising a daughter, but there are probably people willing to help out. my dad is a great dad and im sure if it came down to it, he could have raised me and my older brother alone.
