It's a little bit big age difference in your age, but if you feel comfortable with him and he deals with you just fine..It's just great! I had a friend in my high-school with the same situation like you. We were all shocked by her choice but later she got married to that guy, she has kids with him and seems very happy! :)

If you were 18 it wouldn't matter if you really love each other. However, you are still considered a minor, and you r 33 year old boyfriend could go to prison for being with you. Better make sure your parents aren't against this relationship, or if they are keep it hidden from them until you are 18.
I work in a prison, and one of our offenders is in there, because he had been dating this girl for a few years, her parents didn't like him. The day he turned 18 they had him arrested, because she was still 17. Now he will always have a sex offense on his record and have to register as a sex offender when he is released from prison. The girl is now 18 and they are still together, but she doesn't talk to her parents anymore because of what they did.

I know for a fact that age doesn't matter in a relationship. People like to praise celebrity couples regardless of their age differences and they get all critical whenever they see a regular couple in the same circumstance..I say it's nobody's business.
However, in your case being seventeen, you are considered a minor in this country therefore, you put your boyfriend in a situation here that may lead him to jail..So unless you don't care, you might wanna hold on for a "year"... Good Luck!

I think that the age difference will matter to other people in society but if his intentions are true because yea i will admit that 33 and high school is a bit odd but hey you have been dating for a while if its no deal to you i don't see why not.

Age doesn't mean a thing. As long as you love and respect each other, age is only a number. I have been with my boyfriend for 7 years now. And there is a 22 year difference between us. We are happy, in love and are getting married soon.

Well you are still really young and is is in a different stage in his life, but if you have been making it work all this time do what you do. Be careful though you don't want to get hurt. You will be able to tell when it starts to change. Just love him especially since he loves you good luck.

If you were older I'd say NO, of course not, but the fact is that he started seeing you when you were underage, now it feels normal and right to you, and the fact is that you were not allowed to have your childhood as a teenager with other teenagers. You may love him, but you do him no favors by staying with him if you have not experienced life. In most states he would be considered a pedifile ( a sicko who likes little kids)

It doesn't, but he will age much faster than you will. In a couple of years, it'll feel different. For instance, when he is at retirement age, you'll still be working. You just can't rewind the aging process that is all.
