It is a good possibility that his skin was darker than the beautiful pictures people display. There is also a possibility he has some ******* blood. If you observe images of the people on the West Bank, there are many who could possibly be of the African race.
Biblical accounts say his hair was like that of a sheep.
But, the one big issue is that Jesus was of Jewish descent; so were many Ethiopians. The other big issue is that I really don't care, as long as he is my savior.
Judaism is not a race, it is a religion. Also, Noah had a son who was black.

It is logical that he was a Jew. But why the constant bickering about what race Jesus was? This is of minor consequence when compared to what he represented and the part he continues to play in the world of mankind. He gave his life, a ransom sacrifice for ALL mankind. And he is the means through which we are able to approach God in prayer. He plays a significant role in the outworking of God's purpose concerning mankind, and that is what should concern us.
The Bible teaches, "There is no partiality with God.”—Romans 2:11. Jehovah God’s impartiality allowed for people of various races to become Jewish proselytes. During his earthly ministry, Jesus, who is the exact representation of his Father, imitated Jehovah’s impartiality. (Hebrews 1:3) His primary concern at the time was to find “the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Yet, he did not hold back from witnessing to a Samaritan woman at a well. (Matthew 15:24; John 4:7-30) He also performed a miracle at the request of an army officer, apparently a non-Jew. (Luke 7:1-10) That was in addition to demonstrating by his actions his love for God’s people. Jesus’ disciples preached far and wide too. It became clear that the criterion for receiving Jehovah’s blessing was linked, not to nationality, but to attitude. Humble, honesthearted people who were hungry for the truth responded to the Kingdom good news.

Jesus was jewish of middle eastern desecent. The idea of Jesus being white with sandy blonde hair and blue eyes came as a way to make him seem more acceptable in the eyes of the church as a whole.

Jesus is not black! Isaiah 53:2 will answer your question. Jesus is a middle easterner and the color of the people in the middle east is white (especiallythe women) they are beautiful, and can be compared with american and european descent, the men are also white and some are light brown and dark brown. This is because of geographical location.

He was neither black nor white though He spent his first year or two in Egypt North Africa during Herod's reign. Since our colour tan depends on how far we are from the equator as well as the altitude of where we live, I suppose the Jews of His day should have looked like the modern day Arab of Palestine.

Accordingly, the gospels (Luke 2:4 and Matthew 2:1) report that Jesus, whom they proclaim as the Messiah, was born in Bethlehem, although he grew up in Nazareth.
The Bible gives us almost no physical description of Jesus at all. Jesus, the God who became a man, was a Jew, a member of the tribe of Judah. He was a descendant of David, king of Israel, who was "ruddy":
" And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither. And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy [Hebrew - 'admoniy' - meaning "reddish of the hair or complexion], and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the Lord said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he. " (1Samuel 16:11-12)
Jesus was of Middle Eastern descent...He was neither black or white...but olive-skinned.
1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

Maybe he was white. But after being in the desert forever, traveling around for 40 days without a clue of where he was going... yeah, he probably ended up with some darker skin tones...

Jesus was from Nazareth, in Ethiopia, but He was also Jewish. His hair would have been black, and his skin a deep bronze/brown . So I guess that would have made Him a light skinned Black person.

Jesus was olive colored .The bible describes Jesus here...
Daniel 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

I like that!!! lol, but the answer does not matter!!!! but if u think about it; we all know that africa is the continent of black people and Jesus sure was from the mother land. but in today society, it is "bad" to associate The Son of GOD to people that are considered inferior!!! that is why many answers would be "no, he sure was not black" when it DOES NOT REALLY MATTER
