That is a LOT of fallacies, all strung together. Is there a real question there somewhere?

I can't say for everyone but I'm a woman who believes there is a higher power, I guess I'd say I'm spiritual, I believe there is something higher than us but not sure what. I might ask the powers that be for thing but I don't necessarily believe there is a God. I wouldn't be turned off by an atheist, I believe we all have the right to choose our life and that includes beliefs. I can't believe the bible as it's written, people wrote the bible, people lie, they change stories to make them more horrific or glamourous, just 1 story told to 10 people at the end the last person has a different story because it changed as it went down the line and through people's interpretations. There has to be a reason we are here or created, that's logical to believe but how we got here and who created us we don't know that until we die and maybe not even then, who knows. The bible contains lying, cheating, stealing, and incest which are all supposedly illegal in our society, the first civilizations came from incestous relationships, does anyone really want to believe that is "godly"? I believe what I believe and that's it. I believe we just need to get along with each other despite differences in race, age, country, etc, and that kindness is the way to go to be a good person. Hopefully I'm right and it's not like one of the games out there where the person who is the evilest reaps the best rewards in the end.

''Man is protector of nature.''
''Women need to feel safe''.
Those are big things you're saying buddy. You sure you can handle them? Because it seems to me that you are full of BS. And you sure are acting like you have certain evidence of your imaginative, yet antiquated, proclamations and that you have a firm belief that you know all there is to know in the universe. Where's the evidence? Yes, man might have been considered the guardian of his family...a few hundred years ago. But this is 2006, and men don't only protect, if ever. They suffer, they grieve, they lose, they fail, they are human. They have all the same frailties and weaknesses that women may have. Or are you implying that men are omnipotent and omniscient and need the help of no-one and do no wrong throughout the course of their natural life?
A REAL man would be able to recognise that no, he is not perfect. Therefore, he may need God to point him to the path of perfection.
Secondly, whether or not you believe in God is not based on how much you NEED him. The Bible does not promote selfishness of this degree. Anyone who knows anything about him knows that God is more about salvating you in your time of need. He is a way of life for those who follow him. He is about love, and doing good deeds, and compassion. Those who heed his doctrine don't do it for the sake of protection alone but for the sake of bettering themselves as humans as well.
There are also many other sociological and spiritual factors behind choosing to be religious besides a need for protection.
Thirdly, where is the statistical proof of your final four claims ?
(By the way, have you considered that a christian man would do it with an atheist woman, because he is a MALE, and many men are largely guided by their sexual instincts??)
Lastly, you're disregarding the fact that the heads of the Vatican are men. The Pope, the religious leader of all Catholic Christians? The priests in our churches? The Christian saints, most of whom are men?Christ's 12 disciples were all men. Prophets were men, such as John, who baptized Christ. In Islamic countries, you can scarcely find a man who does not pray to Allah (also a God)several times a day without fail. The Buddha is a man, for pete's sake.
PS it may not seem like it, but i'm an agnostic.

A real man loves God. Why wouldn't he want to feel protected? Men, just as much as women, want to feel like they are important. It take a lot of courage to admit that there is something more important then themselves. The pastors that you refer to obviously, only care about one thing and that's sex. That's not to say that sex doesn't play a part in marriage but sex and religon are two different things.

enable's see. human beings have believed in God for 6,000 years of recorded historic previous now that's the position we get the list. the element is, maximum folk do not trust out of worry yet particularly because they have got here round the happiness and peace of ideas that contains believers by the spirit which retains to ensure that there is something extra to existence than what we see right here in this momentary existence. It became once that scientists would use faith as a initiating position to discover the whys of the international round them. It became quite in many circumstances Darwin who worked complicated to disprove or grant yet another rationalization which many be counted upon on the instantaneous as their excuse for non-conception. From our perspective, the pro info nonetheless heavily outweighs the con, that's of a lot extra modern-day foundation. we are in that degree of historic previous the position sturdy myth is going forth to shake out the weak earlier God will exhibit the actuality about him or existence itself. exciting to be conscious that between all mankind, surveys exhibit that ninety 9% of persons about to die trust there is something previous the grave and that this existence has no longer been wondering about naught.

lol, a real man would. and a real woman may or may not need god to "protect her".
personally i keep a scalpel in my pocket. i don't f*ck around either. i go straight for the femoral artery. most people don't expect that, they expect a jab at the neck, but i'm sneaky.
so you see, god is not useful to me.
i don't need anyone to protect me.
i also hate pansy @ss men. which is why my guy is a christian, lol.
