Are you saying they really don't know more than you? I find that hard to believe. Why do you feel so threatened by them?

Let's see. If I read your question correctly, you are starting with the assumption that anyone born in the US is smarter than anyone born anywhere else? Excuuuuuse me!
Just for starters, Canadians know a lot more about the US than Americans know about Canada. And they know about the rest of the world, too. In fact, most Canadians know more about their own country than most Americans do about theirs.
That doesn't necessarily make Canadians smarter, but it does suggest that they are better educated.
Canadians also seem to know a little more about grammar. We'll ignore the fact that you don't like using upper case, and you abbreviate you to 'u', but a bit of punctuation would help your complaint sound more reasonable. I'll loan you a period and an apostrophe, but you'll have to figure out where they go.
Have a nice day....

An amusing question for the day after Canada Day (July 1)!

Some of it comes from the defensiveness of a little country next to a much larger one. Every country has its varying strengths and weaknesses, and I guess some Canadians like to feel better about their country by finding faults with ours. That's not really good for them, but you can't do much about it. Just try to give them a good experience of ordinary Americans; maybe that will help overcome any prejudice.

In my opinion, it's left-wing Canadians who have the most pronouncedly haughty attitude toward America. Similarly left-wing Americans have an attitude of snobbery toward the people in "flyover country". The vanity of thinking they know better is not a uniquely Canadian trait.

Anyway, best wishes to everybody in the Great White North!

The first step is to get a better education so you can articulate your thoughts in a reasoned and comprehensive manner. This would also prevent you from butchering the Queen's english, knowing the difference between a question and a statement, and the good sense to punctuate.

Canada has a strong education center, people who are not full of them selves, and a general capacity for rational and critical thought. The real question is how does America catch back up so we can be smarter then them.

Ignore the people that say it. I'm an American as well, but I don't let it bother me. I mean, not every Canadian says that, just like not every American says that about Canadians.

That depends first on what the heck you're talking about. You'll have to be a little more specific.
