Oh no i dont agree, I like it, especially the "old" part.
But then I guess you have to like english beaches, and chips by the seaside.
Its good points in my view:
- great flat sandy beach
- lots of water to go with the above
- places to buy food/drink while doing all above
- stripy cliffs (well either you like that kinda thing or you dont but they are unique)
- wind so people on beach/sea can windsurf, fly kites, lose their ice cream etc
- Big rescue vehicles that go into the sea while youre there reversing out by a mega tractor (well my young kids were impressed)
- great art shops for buying panoramas youve just been sunbathing on!
- and more: But if youre not convinved by now you never will be!!

My parents would always take me every year to Hunstanton, all through when I was growing up. I agree that it seems to be aimed at old people and kids. It alright if you want to go on the beach, the beach is really nice. I would say it was as bad as you do, it is better than Skegness which is really tacky, but it is sleepy. As I said to my mum, "All we do in Hunstanton is have ice cream and chips and then go home."

They live in a time-warp around that way in general. Still usually no hassle for the old folk. Maybe something to remember for latter life.
