Maybe you could just go swimming, or to a Children's Museum if you have one. We have a Kid's Guide in my city, and it has all the activities listed for that month (i.e. festivals, special events)...I usually pick these up as I'm leaving Wal-Mart (they're in one of those magazine racks they have as you're walking out) or some restaurants. Those pottery-painting places are fun, too, where you pick something out, paint it, and they glaze it for you. Also, girls love going to bead-stringing places, where they can make their own bracelet or necklace. There are so many options, and you sound like a great father for wanting to show her such a good time. Have fun!

We live in South Mississippi and drive over to New Orleans to the Zoo or Aquarium, my son really enjoyed the airboat rides you see advertised to go see the gators, try going to a nearby hotel and looking on their board that has all the advertisements for stuff in the area, we're working our way down the list.

The zoo would be a great place to go, cause at 7 children can start to understand and learn about animals. There are so many interesting creatures there, that i bet your daughter would love to see. And if the weather isn't so great, there is always the mall(what girl doesn't like shopping?)

Any where's better than home when you're stuck there all the time. Just do something. Take her with you on errands, get her a stack of books, go swimming, cook with her. Anything is better than nothing, even if you don't leave the house.

That age?
Well, Petting Zoo's, Amusement Parks, Chuck E Cheese's, hell, just take her to the mall with a couple of rolls of pennies and let her throw them in the fountain. About as cheap fun as you can get.
A park with swings and slides.
A pool.

Take her to the dollar store..........give her twenty dollars and tell her to fill the cart up with all kinds of things that she wants to do with you today..............silly string, water balloons, etc.
Then stop by and get food for a picnic and smores. Spread a blanket in the back yard or on the living room floor and have your picnic..............spend quality time playing with the things she got and make smores on the stove or in the microwave.

Jus remeber at that age they are so simple and see beauty in most of the things we fail to do....so it doesn't matter where u take her..take her to a park and play a game with her...that would be the best thing u can do to her

The two of you should prepare a nice picnic lunch, grab your fishing poles, (or go buy some) and take her fishing. That is something that a father and daughter should always experience....
