Islam is submission, submission to one True God. Islam is about Rights, Responsibilities, limitations, Morality, Peace, Justice, Wisdom, Devotion, and relationship with Almighty God.
and ya, the most misunderstood religion of the world today.

_Islam is all about love and fairness.
_It gives great importance to a human and his/her rights.
_As much as Islam secures Muslim men's rights, it does exactly the same with women.
_Islam sees every single person on earth as alike; every one is highly valued and important.
_People are loved by Allah, and those who do good are ranked higher by Him.
_It's a religion of mercy on every living soul.
_It asks Muslims to be patient against their enemies, yet preserves a person's dignity.
_Those who don't know what 'Jihad' means, basically it has two meanings: The first one means refraining from doing a sin and resisting any kind of sinful temptations. The second is basically defending a country or Muslims against ATTACKING enemies that try to hurt them or conquer their lands. Yet Muslims during such wars are not allowed to fight or kill the women, children, and the old people of the attackers'. Other than that, Muslims are not permitted in any way by Islam to start any kind of war on anybody or any person.
_Politically, every person in a Mulim population must be asked by the leader on their opinions before taking a decison that concern them or their country. Opression by a leader and dictatorship is a taboo and considered totally unfair by Islam. A leader is obliged to fully secure the citizens' human rights.
_Islam ranked specific sins as the most hateful by God; and i will only mention two: Killing and ruining a woman's reputation in any way.
_Allah ranks Mary as the best and purest woman in the world. Muslims call her the ''Pure Mary.'' A full chapter in the Holy Quran is in her name. It praises her and describes what a pure woman she was.
_Those who think that women are discriminated or opressed do prove how much they know nothing about this religion. It's enough to mention that one way Allah praised women is through naming an entire chapter in the Holy Quran in their name as a way of respecting and appreciating them as human beings.
There's much more to say, and that was only a tiny introduction.

Islam is great..its not just a religion--its a way of life that must be followed because its what you believe in...it is not unfair to women..it demands respect for woman..learn the facts and then you will understand.......

Beautiful religion, profoundly spiritual, first religion that gave RIGHTS to women (cultures opress women, Islam doesn't, please understand this y'all), very intelligent religion, its Empire gave the world great advances in mathematics, physics, botany, biology, philosophy, law, government, ethics, medicine, astronomy, and the list goes on and on.
And it's definitely one of the world's misunderstood religions. Its members suffer the ignorance of the Christian majority.

Islam is the very nature of man. It is the religion and the path chosen by Almighty Allah for mankind so that they may gain happiness in this life and Paradise in the next life. Islam is not a religion in the common and distorted sense, for it does not confine its scope to one's private life. It is a complete way of life and is present in every field of human existence. Islam provides guidance for all aspects of life—individual and social, material and moral, economic and political, legal and cultural, and national and international. The teachings of Islam are simple and intelligent.
