The two that come to mind and are somewhat affordable are: Corvette Z06 and Ford GT. Both are capable of ridiculously fast speeds. The standard Corvette LS2 is plenty fast too. See the recent issue of Car and Driver magazine for some really fast aftermarket massaged cars including a twin turbo viper that puts out almost a thousand horsepower.
