Every single answer on here has at least one person that mindlessly pastes bible verses as an answer. It's like spam. No one reads it.

I don't read it. I've determined a long time ago that most bible thumping fundies can NOT think for themselves.

If no one reads the verses, it is their loss. If you consider it spam, then God must consider those who refuse to read the verses "smoked" spam. Think that over.
By the way, if anyone wishes to know the sources for the answers and the answers came from the Bible, then they either take it by faith that it's true and go on or they will read the verses and make sure that whomever stated them knows what they are talking about and are not giving them generic verses just to look knowledgeable. No verse is mindlessly pasted, just mindless people think they aren't worth reading. If Buddha was pasted on here you'd jump at that, wouldn't you? And--some are spiritual questions that should be backed up by the verses.
Bible "thumpers" are original thinkers, by the way, but they have a set of beliefs that they live by, just as any Wiccan would. Different questions get different answers and all should be backed up by verses or lines if they are available. Gladly the Bible is available to anyone.

No they dont.

I agree with you.

Actually posting those verses as proof of bible is illogical. Bible is true because bible says so is the weakest argument and useless.

If a question is really about Bible ,and posting verses answers it, then it is a different thing.

I think it's okay if used sparingly, and then supported with more of your own opinion. If all you do is paste an entire chapter from the Bible, you're not really making your point. People ARE gonna glaze over that.

I have seen people here pasting from their books and forcing us to believe

What If i start pasting from my books ?

Everybody has books and scriptures, bible is not the only Truth in the universe...it is not even a complete Truth.

Only very few christian brothers use their own mind to clarify things.

no, and most of the time they have nothing to with the question or even their answer. case in point: mainworry. that guy will post a page long quote that has nothing to do with anything half the time. its like a cool button for christians: "look at me, i read the bible and can put this quote. i am sooo cool."
you know whats really cool? original thought!

That's funny, your question and the content after it is suprisingly relevant to all of you rediculous questions that all indicate you HAVE WAY TOO MUCH TIME ON YOUR HANDS.

That's spam, and way too many people are reading it.

Waste of time. But with the name like Cornfunkle and the picture you posted it with compels one to inquire on what you are asking...hmm...

I think that the scripture refs that people put in their answers is just proof to support their answers. In school when your teacher askes you to answer a question or write a research paper they usually ask you to back up your stand. I noticed that people write full page responces to all types of questions, not just those involving scriptures!!

I know what you mean, Garfunkel!

Please refrain from posting garbage on the internet, people. And I'm not talking about just verses from the bible.

Answer the questions on your own!
