It was without form and void until he spoke into existence all that is here. It was without life, form, gravity, etc....keep reading and you'll catch it. Darkness, because he spoke Light into existence when he knew that life needed light. God made everything perfect, then gave man free will and we screwed it up in the name of science and selfishness.

What is imperfect about this? We are not evolved enough to understand the perfection of God. There is no possible way that we can know how everything fits into God's "big picture". God is the process of life itself, and that is perfect. Maybe not our idea of perfect, but again, we have very limited consciousness.

Christians are in deniel. If the earth was perfect, we wouldn't have natural dissasters and there wouldn't be astroids hitting the earth which will happen sooner or later. Are atheists the only ones that use common sence?

God doesn't make everything perfect.I think common sense would tell u that if u just looked around you at the world we live in today. ppl are not perfect. I'm not saying he didn't intend us to be that way, but if things were supposed to be perfect , the world would have stayed the way he made it in the beginning

the earth and the universe is NOT perfect. far from it. but it is this imperfection that is its cohesion. a perfect universe would never last. ours feeds on itself in an endless cycle of messy reformation. so i guess you could say that its perfection lies in imperfection.

He did make it perfect. Darkness is night. This passage demonstrates to us how we are nothing without Him.
