Just stop smoking. Belive me i know how hard it is but that is the only way. You'll be freaking out for few weeks and then it will stop.

Just do it.

yeah, I know its glib, but thats it. you must realise just what is the problem with quitting. Its that the fight for not quitting is from an entity that is a good at arguing as you are plus a physical addiction.
Namely you are on a out numbered side, you vs you and the tobacco.

So, what to do to even the odds, for me (4 days into quitting for the 3rd time) its the price £5:26 for 20 cigs in the UK right now, there is a heck of a lot I can do with savings from a 20 a day habit. (£1,900 per year!)
First time I quit I just quit, no problem, second time I had a real nasty cold that put me off cigs for a week, kept 1 dried out cig in the packet and promissed that that would be my next, it was so rough it made me choke and quit.

If there is a trick its dont try too hard, fighting will just wind you up and make you want a cig, go easy on your self, but do go

What I did was make sure I had one cigerrette and a lighter sitting on top of the microwave so I knew it was there in case of emergency.LOL Knowing it was there that I could make the choice to smoke it if need be worked for me. I did keep myself busy though also. It is phychological why we all keep smoking. I have to say that I picked up smoking years later when I was being stalked. But you can do it, put your mind to it.

They say cold turkey is the best way to quit. But I'm sure the people who say that have never lit up a cigarette in their lives. It is a very hard thing to conquer and the one thing you will need the most is the love and support from your friends and family. Good luck! And if you do find an easy way to quit, let me know too!

I am a non-smoker who works in the Health Care field. Most physicians and nurses advise their patients not to smoke and then turn around and light one up on their breaks.
I am a 'victim' of 2nd. hand smoke since I am always around these individuals at work.
In your mind, think of the long term efforts...When you are in your 80's and you are connected to an oxygen tank and nasal cannula 24/7 in order to breathe. That might make you think before you light the next one up.
Trust me, I see it all the time in health care settings.
Good luck!

From me, I would suggest you change your eating habits to those that address the reason your body demands that you smoke, which may be a blood sugar imbalance. Seriously! Some of the reading I have done due to my diabetes suggests that the body gets addicted to substances to survive a chronic low blood sugar condition.

You may want to check out www.hufa.org to see some basic information on blood sugar imbalances both high and low.

Because they are a cult who calls themselves christian but don't believe in God the son or holy spirit. There is no reasoning with a cult, they are taught to forget the teachings and only read a bastardized verson of the bible which has removed and changed the word. Any free thinking normal person couldn't swallow the chum they serve and the jevohas teach that if you don't follow them, you are evil. No relationship could survive that.

Count the cost that you spend on cigarettes in a year and imagine the amount of money you can save and go for that dream holiday. It works for my father as a pack of cigarettes is ridiculously high in Singapore.

In addition try munching on a piece of carrot when you feel like lighting up a cigarette. Chewing on licorice or sugar cane sticks also helps.

Quit when you're sick (i.e. have a cold or whatever). Just do it cold turkey. You know, when you're sick, you don't feel like smoking much anyways. Then never lite up again. The first 3 days are the worst.
