red feather is more than likely your spirit guide (or one of them)

have you ever been on a vision quest or journy to find your spirit guide or totem animal?

I have a native american spirit guide (whom I do not know the name of) who leads me into the other world where I meet my totem animals.

there are many reasons for guides to be with us....guides are sometimes with us in childhood (to get us through and be our friends)... they are also there to guide us through some of the rough times in life... some are with us our whole life....seeing us through...

I just looked through some of my books and can not find a red feather, but that in no way means that he did/does not exist; there is also one other explanation... do you believe in re-incarnation? you may also have been this..red feather you speak of.

my guess is that he is a spirit guide however.... I don't know where you live; but if there is a spiritual center around that can give you info or lead you on a spirit journey, it will well be worth your time. feel free to e-mail with any more questions if I may be of help..............good luck!

Being that their are probably many Native Americans named Red Feather, it would be very difficult to weed out who he is or was.
I agree that is your guardian spirit. Perhaps in your travels across the American west, you should stop at a reservation and seek the council of their medicine woman/man. If you have had the strongest sensations in Wyoming, I would research the tribes that lived in that area and seek information from them.

There was one of the LAKOTA tribe that fought at little big horn against CUSTER who was named red feather

However this could be a common name, I am sure this is not the only red feather who ever existed. Imagine trying to find someone named "Fred".

Next time he crawls in the seat next to you ask him what tribe he's from.
