In Gnostic tradition, Jesus neither sees his death as a tragedy, nor as a necessary act to save the world from its sins.
In Bible also we see that Jesus has the power to forgive sin (Matt.9:6) and save men (Luke 19:10) without shedding blood. Transfiguration (Matt. 17:2) also showed the power of Christ to change to spritual form and back without shedding blood. In the Lords prayer also we see that the forgiveness of sin is not linked with the shedding of blood.
As Christ and Father are one (John.10:30), is it not correct for all Christians who accept that salvation is through Christonly, to also accpt that salvation is not linked with shedding of blood in any way?

The question was asked by my friend who does not access to computer. I am a born Christian and never like to argue about The Bible and Christ.

Hebrews 9:22: "Unless blood is poured out no forgiveness takes place." Those scriptures cannot negate Hebrews 9:22 and Hebrews cannot negate those scriptures. Matthew 9:6 teaches us to pray for forgiveness - but that forgiveness is based on something and that something is the ransom sacrifice even as other scriptures make clear.

Luke 19:10 makes no mention of salvation without blood - it simply says Christ came to seek and save what was lost. Matthew 17:2, in describing the transfiguration, makes absolutely no mention of salvation without blood. Neither does it even hint or suggest that Christ moved back and forth between physical form and spiritual form. Moreover, verse 8 plainly states that it was a vision.

So it really is not correct or accurate to say that salvation is not linked with the shedding of blood. Salvation is everywhere linked with the shedding of blood - from Exodus to Revelation.

Jesus' crucifiction was the last, and ultimate, sacrifice to cleanse the world of sin, then and now. It is for that reason, no longer are any animal sacrifices necessary. He is the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, even today. We believe in a triune God, all one, God - the Father, Jesus - the Son and the Holy Spirit. However, with that said, one cannot reach the Father except through the Son.

I won't go into salvation theory as there are different beliefs - Catholic, 'Fundamentalist', Protestant, etc (not including Gnostics)... but ultimately, each of us has the same goal, to make it to heaven to be with Jesus and have life everlasting with him.

Hope that's of some help to you - cliff notes version and all :)

There are several schools of Gnostic thought, so I can only answer with what my personal Gnosis has told me.
1. Jesus and Christ are 2 versions of the same person. Jesus became his inner Christ upon his baptism by John. Before that, Jesus was just a man who learned from Egyptian preists and other mystery schools.
2. It was this transformation that he was able to perform his miracles to teach us that we ALL can achieve the same as he. We can all reach within ourselves and bring forth the divine spark that Sophia placed within us. To rise above the material nature of our being.
3. Sin is not related to a physical (hylic) or mental (psychic) act, but rather to a spiritual (pneumatic) state of being. In other words, we have "missed the mark" (the true definition of sin) ad must continue to practice to become one with the source in the pleroma.
If you take all of the above into account, then yes "salvation" is achievable without bloodshed...if fact it is not salvation, it is realization.

Death is not a tragedy. It is Simply the release from the limitations imposed on spirit by the idea that it is a body. This is seen as finality from the perspective of someone who sees themselves only as a body. It is a moment of great joy eagerly awaited by spirit, the true self.

The idea that Jesus needed to die for the sins of man is simple nonsense invented to induce guilt in an attempt to control people who can be convinced of this fiction. God is not insane, nor does HE/She enjoy suffering. The idea that someone good needs to die because of something someone else did is absurd on any level.

That is why the Catholic Church taught that it was a sin to even question this idea. They were fully aware that this preposterous idea would not hold up under even limited rational scrutiny. This is why the effort was made to get rid of any remaining Gnostic texts, ideas or believers by means of heresy charges and even execution.

You need to read how the Jewish sect cleaned their sins, washed in Blood.
God was appalled by that shedding of blood, they thought they could sin as long as they had a calf to sacrifice. Jesus Gods Anointed Son the perfect spotless sacrifice for sin ,was the final blood sacrifice, All our sins are washed away in the Blood of Jesus if we Accept him. And it was the Blood of Jesus that enabled us to become Christians.

Nope.

Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

You missed most of what you thought you read. Why then does the Bible tell that without the spilling of blood the can be no remission of sin. The penalty for sin is death. Everyone has to die. See a pastor (an educated one please).

No one needed to die for anyone to be "saved". I believe that Jesus did it to show people around him what it means to let go of the material world and to live in spirit instead. It also pointed out what it trully means to "turn the other cheek".
