I am currently enjoying an extended visit in a country where the population is primarily of the Islamic faith. I enjoy hearing the call to prayer early every morning, and I have noticed that I do not hear it on Sunday. I also notice that the farmers do not work in their gardens on Sunday. I am interested in the reason. Thank you.

Usually, in a mosque there will be call to prayer on all day including Sunday. I don't know why the mosque you mentioned do not have call to prayer on Sunday. May be the person who calls to prayer take his day off on Sundays and there is no other person who knows to call to the prayer. Or may be on Sundays, mic is switched off so that mosque authorities do not want to disturb people who is having a Sunday sleep. :)

The early christian Church made a sacred day of Sunday … largely because it was the weekly festival of the sun; for it was a definite Christian policy to take over the pagan festivals endeared to the people by tradition, and to give them a Christian significance.

The First Sunday Law was enacted by Emperor Constantine -
March, 321 A.D. It read as follows.

On the venerable Day of the Sun let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed. In the country, however, persons engaged in agriculture may freely and lawfully continue their pursuits; because it often happens that another day is not so suitable for grain-sowing or for vine-planting; lest by neglecting the proper moment for such operations the bounty of heaven should be lost. (Given the 7th day of March, Crispus and Constantine being consuls each of them for the second time [A.D. 321].)

As you can see people who engaged in farming were exempt from this rule.

No, Allah of the Koran and God of the Bible might want to no longer a similar. One question. Why would God come into the area as a guy and let us know to seek the dominion of God and then 600 years later let us know an finished new gospel? have you ever ever study the Koran? this is like an angel is speaking and not in any respect God or Muhammad. And a fallen angel referred to as Lucifer at that. He speaks of beginning the chest to get some aspect performed. Lucifer the gentle bearer had stones upon his chest. So genuinely angels have similar stones to the severe Priest in the temple of Herod. Christianity and Judaism adjust to a similar God, notwithstanding likely the most Jews do no longer recognize Jesus because the Lord strolling the earth in flesh. Paul stated they have been partly blinded until eventually the Gentiles are available in. I evaluate we are seeing a passable many Muslims turning from Islam to Christianity. this is the Lord Jesus who alterations the hearts and minds. Christ is making Himself known to the Muslims. even as Christ starts making Himself pronounced to the Jews they're going to be weeping for the clarification that they are going to weep for Christ like they could weep for an least difficult youngster. Jesus pronounced that He would now no longer go back except they stated, "Blessed is he who comes in the change into conscious of of the Lord."

I do not know where you are in the world, but i hear it everyday (i live in a city near dubai), in fact, although there is a mosque or two in every city block, there is most definitely a mosque right next to all the chruches in the U.A.E., it gets kind of irritating when you are in church for mass and then the imam (spelling?) next door starts the call to prayer through a set of outdoor megaphones.

It depends in which country you are .
Most of Muslims live in their countries , but the rules and regulations has nothing to do with Islam.
In short, at present there is no country that could claim or could be marked as a Muslim country, I am talking about the Govt. and the rules being implemented by the Govt.
